- Do I need a Flash Player?
Yes, the courses and tests use Flash for online delivery.
- You should upgrade to the latest free version of the player at the Adobe Flash Player Download Center.
- You can see what version you have, and other details at the Flash Player Information Site.
- If you need to know the minimum system requirements for flash, check the Adobe System Requirements page for the Flash Player.
We are sorry if you are unable to view this program online. Please contact the Office of Emergency Management for a DVD version for the program at 206-233-7123 or e-mail at snap@seattle.gov. - How do I get my certificate?
A link is available at the end of the quiz to print your certificate.
It will be shown to you in a new browser window, from which you can save or print it.
The certificate is designed to print on regular letter sized paper with Portrait orientation. - How many times can I take the quizzes?
Each quiz may be taken as many times as necessary. There is a 1 minute delay between attempts, so you may review the course material in the meantime - What about Usernames, passwords, and registration?
Anyone may view the course, but you must be a registered user to take the test. The login area is located at the top of each page, and you may Register a new account from there. This will take you to the registration area to supply the necessary information to create an account.
- Your Username must not be more than 10 characters
- Your password must be at least 6 characters, using only numbers and letters
- What are the System Requirements for online education?

System maintenance of the IRIS Education servers may occur on the second Wednesday of the month from 10PM-12AM (PT). If you are logged onto this site during that window you may encounter a brief interruption of service--please try again after 12AM.
