American Financial Solutions (AFS) is a national non-profit Credit Counseling Agency. We offer confidential professional budget counseling, financial education and debt management assistance. OUR MISSION
The mission of AFS is to empower people to improve the quality of their lives through financial education and counseling. Our credit counselors receive extensive training and must become certified through the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) during their first year of employment. They must maintain their accreditation by completing 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years. We also require counselors to stay abreast of current industry events and provide them in house training. Each of these courses is provided free from American Financial Solutions.
